There is a Tutorial on Indic Computing at this Conference.
This is scheduled for tomorrow (31/January/2003).  The tutorial
starts at 1.30pm and finishes at 5pm.  See www.tenet.res.in/ncc2003.

The Tutorial discusses the development of a multimodal interface
(keyboard-display, speech, handwriting) and multilingual search.

Tutorial cost: Rs.750.
