[Indic-computing-users] Unicode data entry

Hello sir/madam,

I am Anitha Nalluri from DON lab,IITM,chennai. I am doing my M.Tech 
project on local language interfaces. I have some doubt. 

Till now i was using ISCII but now i want to switch to unicode but 
unicode characters are 16bit characters how can we enter them in a 
file??

Please help me asap
