[Second try] I am happy to announce an interim snapshot of the Python FreeType wrapper. This 'Milestone-1' release implements enough functionality to allow a Python version of the FreeType demo program 'ftdump' to be written. This is an interim snapshot and would be of interest to Python and FreeType users. in particular, the "Pythonic" view of the API is still being designed. If you are using the FreeType library to do any Indic rendering from C, please send me a URL to your code. One of the goals of this effort is to make common FreeType programming idioms easy to express using Python.
