There have been long threads on Mozilla i18n & l10n lists on Indic issues, and it always boiled down to lack of font standard ( font standard here means a standardized glyph set & a suitable encoding scheme for it ). Ironically even after having opentype fonts we still won't be having a font standard. Regards, Karunakar |
