hi, i had asked the the kolkata LUG and, a guy from the ISI replied thus Hi Sayamindu, There is a project ( probably sponsored by Ministry of Defence ) for developing software for "Indian Language Computation". I dont know how much that pertains to linux. Moreover probably its going to proprietary ( owned by govt. ). Anything specific that you want to know about it ?
