Hi!
Not many people know about the indic unicode list where implementors and 
standardisers meet.
To subscribe send an email to ecartis at unicode dot org with the subject 
line as - subscribe indic
This is a kind of "subcommitte" for indic in unicode, and non members, ie 
general public are allowed to join, specifically language experts, whose 
help is needed.
The kind of questions being asked there currently are: 

o Valid combinations of charcters
o Given a glyph in a document/printed text, how would it be encoded via 
unicode?
