The letter is apparently a consolidation of some conversation between two people, where, when and why it took place it is not clear; nor do I understand what the unnamed attachment is about. Trust it is not a virus. But, I would like point out that I have come accross more severe critisms of others' views, but they are extremely dignified. I do not wish to take sides in a dispute I do not understand about, but I do wish that we can avoid words like following:- (in no particular order) > accusation is that you people are getting funds > victim of jealousy > how immoral you people are > playing a dirty game > How dare you people > just to attract DTP operators and make money The standards in Indian scripts are still fragmented, and very much concerted effort is necessary to arrive at some form of uniformity. Conversations like these, will not nelp - not because they lack merits, but because the language is too offensive. One needs to realise that the "my standard, or none" approach adopted by everybody will be counter productive in the long run. Mahesh T pai. |
