[Indic-computing-devel] Yet another GPL'ed Bangla OTF

Ho!
I just got a mail from Anirban Mitra <mit...@ya...>
and he has sent me a GPL'ed Bangla OTF he has designed
The glyphs are not very good - but the tables seem to be perfect - and
this font can serve as a reference later Bangla OTFs :D
I have asked him if he can join the project at
www.nongnu.org/freebangfont
...this looks good :)

Congratulations! your project is simply great. Now I am
planning to start a similar one for Malayalam.

BTW, can you write a guide lines for Indic OpenType font
dvelopers apart from MS documents. I may be able to help a
little bit for this effort. See there is no seperate
documentation for Malayalam and Bangala at Microsoft site.

(all other indian languages has sperate documents)

great - in fact the website is not complete - i have to squeeze out some
time in some way :)

yes - that's what the Documentation part of the project is for
Free documentation for the Open Type specs are badly needed :(
I am willing to write such a document, but let me figure things out
completely first - I am yet to figure certain features out properly :D
