I just released the 0.5 (BETA) version of the Akaash OpenType Font.
There are a number of problems with the font, but it works, and has
support for many of the commonly used conjuncts.
I have also created a mailing list for the development of this font at=20

Also do note that this system is temporary - I will be moving to
savannah.gnu.org as soon as the project is approved (there had been some
