Configuration:
Newton 8inch f4 + zwo 1600mm + EFW 8pos + pegasus falcon rotator and regular guider on a NEQ6.
The falcon rotator has PA enabled.
also, the first party drivers of the falcon rotator have a 220degrees max on it, making it impossible to endlessly spin and screw up the cableports.
Situation:
Everything is configured, the image has been focused and only platesolving is left. Rotator is configured with PA. When platesolving is started (by image or coordinates) the platesolver starts solving. When solved the platesolver moves the scope and afterwards the rotator. When the rotator is being pushed to its PA it keeps spinning. You can see it move in Ekos and it doesnt stop. I've tested this untill 720 degrees and it still didnt stop. At this point I do not dare to fully automate the set when serious cable snagging could be happening.
What have I tried?
What does work?
