#5 scroll wheel stops working after a switching with kvm

I am using a Logitech MX510 optical mouse with scroll
wheel and a D-Link DKVM-8E KVM switch. Everything works
fine on my Linux machine, until I switch to another
machine and then switch back. When I do the mouse still
works, but I can't scroll unless I reboot.

Is there another way around this?

Are you using the PS/2 adapter? If so, is this a powered
KVM? Unpowered KVMs are notorious for messing up PS/2 devices.
