Hello JMB Please wait with trying the optimization feature until next release. There are a number of bugs in there which will cause it to fail. The issue you have is that bash does not like brackets on the command line. Try 'ignore.stress(i)=35' - i.e. use single quotes and it will run, but as I said - it will fail anyway. The command will be changed for the new release. Sorry for that. As for optimization on 3D elements, I honestly don't know.
