Not always the ideal solution (creates small stutter effect in video output), but if files in the sequence are missing, an option to "fill" the gaps would sometimes be nice.

For example:
0203.PNG is missing. Rename 0204, 0205, etc. one "backward" to fill the space so that the sequence is complete and ready for e.g. After Effects to process - it's very frustrating when a file is missing, AFX says "x files are missing", but doesn't list which files!

    - allow new formatting (at least prefix e.g. "20090215") --> e.g. <DATE>_xxxxxx<EXT>

    Auto-rename when importing dirs with many sub-dirs such as with Canon:
    DCIM \ 250CANON
    ...
    DCIM \ 255CANON

    IMG_XXXX.JPG will eventually roll-over to IMG_0001.JPG again, so a sequence may start IMG_9000 and end IMG_1000, thus causing frustration.

    Sorting should be based on EXIF date/time!
