With such a feature, IMFavorites would be really great
for me, because I'm already doing that operation manually.

So, just one more option would be needed to specify,
how many CDs/DVDs the user wants. Or in other words:
maxsize-value gets multiplied by the new parameter, and
the whole result is split up into that much serarate
pieces.

Thanks in advance!

Well, I'm not sure this needs to go into IMFavorites. I can
see two scenarios for the output:

    1) You want to have 5 CDs, where the 1st CD has your
favorites, and the 5th CD has your least favorites (which
    still make the cut)
    2) Or you want to have 5 CDs wherein your favorites are
    scattered about

For #1 you'd need a modification of IMFavorites
For #2, you'd just need a shell script.

I'm wondering what sort of interface this would have. I
guess something like -D [number of disks], and then the
output directories are the [output directory][1-N]. Any
    comments?
