Hi Mike, Thanks for the offer of help. It would be great to have help. So far we have me and Scott doing java hacking and kati is going to make the interface multi language. There is definitely room on the team for a graphic artist. I have to do a lot of work on this to get the basics use cases working, but you can start playing with the graphics. If you want to get really geeky try to follow: http://imca.sourceforge.net/how2hack.html Register with Sourceforge and I will add you as a commiter. Getting this all working without Java experience may be too hard. Therefore you can also send be made up screenshots and I will do the HTML and build the pages. I can do the geeky bits but it would be great to get help with the photoshop work, as that is not my main skills area. Mailing list for developers is at: http://imca.sourceforge.net/mail-lists.html Please ALL subscribe. So busy at the moment I have no time for Moth building but i hope things will calm down soon, and I can think about getting the Flashheart to the next worlds- All the best, Doug Mike Cooke wrote: > Hi Doug, > > I am by no means a programmer and only have limited HTML knowledge, > but I was formerly a graphic designer before boatbuilding so if you > need any help with logos/graphics etc etc on the new website please > let me know. > > It was good to meet you at the worlds, hope the new boat comes > together before the next one! > > Cheers > > > > > > Mike Cooke > mi...@aa... <mailto:mi...@aa...> > Aardvark Technologies > Unit 29 Knightcott Industrial Estate > Banwell > North Somerset > BS29 6JN > > |
