The next release (in few days) will bring hardware accelerated 3D
rendering and automatic feature-based alignment. Segmentation in the
virtual mode is in plans, but I can't really say when. From the technical
point of view, implementation of the basic segmentation in the virtual mode
is rather simple, but checking this mode for conflicts with the current
features may take quite some time.

Hello,

I was wondering if it will ever be possible to segment in virtual mode
with upcoming version of MIB. This feature would be a huge help to our lab.

MIB has become an integral part of our labs image segmentation pipeline.
