In the latest 0.9 CVS code, there's an example called autologin.php in
the source directory.  Basically, you can modify autologin.php to pull
user auth info from your DB, start a session, then bump them into an
active IlohaMail session.  You can theoretically pass username and
password to autlogin.php and it'll redirect people to an active
session... but this isn't recommended for security reasons.

There's a version for the 0.8 branch somewhere, but it might be on a
machine I currently don't have access to.  The 0.9 version can be seen
