You should read the comments with more atention... PHP's mail() function migh= t work or not depends on what and how you have things on your machine... This is just my opinion. /***************** SMTP Server **************=20 SMTP server to use. Default is "localhost", however any SMTP server that'll allow relaying from your webmail server can be used. Authenticated SMTP is currently not supported. =20 =20 Leave string empty to use PHP's mail() function. (Might work more reliably.) */ Em 3/14/2003, "Rob Coenen" <ro...@so...> escreveu: >Hi Ryo, > >I tried your patched smtp.inc but this one resulted in another strange >thing: >1) I read a message >2) I hit reply >3) a window pops up with the quoted message in it, but the To: field is >totally empty (so the reply-to address is just totally missing now) > >Hwowver, as I send to the list before, I did find a solution, yet I cannot >really explain why it's working, but it does > >in conf.inc there's line that sets the $SMTP_SERVER.
