Sadly, Alpha 5 will be delayed a while. I decided to switch to a class-based leveling system (which is being implemented), as well as begin adding in special attacks and interface updates (as planned on the wiki). In addition to this, the shop code is being converted to nearly completely mouse oriented.
Alpha 4 was released today, boasting a new interface, monster AI updates, and an Inn system.
Because of a CVS issue, the linux version of Alpha 3 does not contain the full monster list. It can be downloaded from the cvs from the link below. Then, overwrite the existing file in ./bin/maps

The third Alpha of Illuvien is now available. It features a dungeon with boss, bug fixes, and a new item type. The Windows version is available, and there is also a download for Linux users for the first time!
We know have a working (relatively stable) release, complete with levels, skills, items, and the first quest! If you download, make sure to tell me what you thought in some way (email, etc).
Released the first pre-alpha version. This is less of a game and more of a system test.
