I use a combination of IE and w3 on Emacs & MS Windows. Usually, I want = to use IE (calling the hyperspec with F1), but sometimes I want to use = w3 instead. I set up the following in order to use w3 (make sure the w3 = directory is in your load-path first) to access the hyperspec from the = Shift-F1 key: (global-set-key [(shift f1)] '(lambda () (interactive) (require 'w3-auto) (let ((browse-url-browser-function 'browse-url-w3) (common-lisp-hyperspec-root "file://c:/usr/home/docs/Hyperspec/") (common-lisp-hyperspec-symbol-table (concat = common-lisp-hyperspec-root "Data/Map_Sym.txt")) (hyperspec-prog "c:/usr/home/site/ilisp/extra/hyperspec")) (load-library hyperspec-prog) (common-lisp-hyperspec (thing-at-point 'symbol))))) Note that you need to use the file://... syntax for the = common-lisp-hyperspec-root variable but can not use it for the = hyperspec-prog variable. Note also that I use global-set-key because I = often want to access the hyperspec from inside a document that isn't a = lisp source file. You may want to use an ilisp-specific binding instead. Hope that helps.=20 -- Bill Clementson >=20 > Thanks in advance, > Tiago Maduro-Dias >=20 > --=20 >=20 > "To underestimate one's self is as much a departure from truth as to > exaggerate one's own powers." > (Sherlock Holmes) >=20 >=20 > ------------------------------------------------------- > Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo, June 4-6, 2003, Santa Clara > The only event dedicated to issues related to Linux=20 > enterprise solutions > www.enterpriselinuxforum.com >=20 > _______________________________________________ > Ilisp-devel mailing list > Ili...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/ilisp-devel >=20 |
