Hi Edi, I tried your suggestions; however, when I start Corman Lisp in Emacs, it still hangs (I get the Corman startup message but no REPL prompt and I have to kill emacs to get out of it). Do you have a minimum .emacs configuration that works? I have tried both my .emacs from the CL Cookbook page and tried starting without a .emacs and manually entering the commands - neither worked and in both cases Corman hung. -- Bill Clementson --- Edi Weitz <ed...@ag...> wrote: > Edi Weitz <ed...@ag...> writes: > > > echo -e "(in-package :ilisp)\n(defparameter > **cormanlisp-arglists* * (make-hash-table :test > #'eq))" >/tmp/cormanlisp-arglists.lisp > > > > strings CormanLisp.exe | egrep > '\[Macro\]|\[Function\]|\[Special Operator\]' | perl > -p -e > "s/^(\\S+)\\s*(.*[\\S]|)\\s*\\[[^[]+\\]\$/(setf > (gethash 'CL:\$1 **cormanlisp-arglists**) \"\$2\")/" > >>/tmp/cormanlisp-arglists.lisp > > My apologies - Gnus bit me again.
