For some reason Sun uses a weird library name mangling scheme on OS X ("lib" + name + ".jnilib") and I haven't yet added support for that (if you use a custom class loader that overrides findLibrary it can work, because I have actually had it running that way at some point, but for some reason I never followed through on that.)
