Saxon, for what it's worth, is still using something like 0.46.x.x. Need to check the details, that's from memory. We hit some trivial problem last time we tried to move forward, and stuck with what worked because we had no real reason to upgrade in the first place. Many Saxon users also stick with old versions of Saxon. It's frustrating to us when they hit a support issue, but I can well understand why they do it.
