Hi, > maybe I might gain some performance benefit, compatibility, etc. when I use the latest version. If you does not have any problems then the new version will not give you any benefit. Of corse it can be faster but it can also be slower. And if all work then the needed parts are compatible. The difference between 0.36 and 7.0 is not very large. The one based on OpenJDK 6 and the other on OpenJDK 7. We have change the version schema. > I have the jar version of the library, but it seems some of the class were obfuscated. Can't make sure if it works properly if I reconvert to .net dll on my own. In general it should work. But sure can you be only if you test it. Betreff: Re: [Ikvm-developers] Upgrade ikvm compiled dll Hi Volker, You probably mistaken what I asked for... What I mean here is, I have the 3rd party library which compiled using ikvm v0.36.0.12, my project using ikvm v7, when I compile the project, I got error told me that the library needs the reference to java.lang.Object of ikvm v0.36.0.12, so likely I'm forced to use the ikvm v0.36.0.12. What I'm thinking is, since v0.36.0.12 is way behind the latest version, maybe I might gain some performance benefit, compatibility, etc. when I use the latest version. I'm working with inforeach fixengine if you'd like to know. Thanks.
