Can you tell me, how to change the modes? Your documentation, doesn't make it clear how to change from say the standard, to medium mode for example.

I need simple instructions, but when I looked I couldn't figure out what to do.

There were no # behind the modes as if to say, remove to enable.
Can someone help me here?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "modes".

Are you referring to the action defaults? If yes, changing them is documented at:
    https://www.privoxy.org/user-manual/actions-file.html#HOW-TO-EDIT

By the way I'd recommend that you update to the latest Privoxy version to get bug fixes and new features.

Maybe I should say it this way, I don't understand how the syntax works on privoxy.

How do I turn on medium settings?

That url doesn't help me. Its a bit too, vague.

      https://www.privoxy.org/user-manual/actions-file.html#HOW-TO-EDIT

      Says
Note: the config file option enable-edit-actions must be enabled for
      this to work.

In other words, you have to change the line in the privoxy config.txt
file (or config if you're not using WIndowz) from
      enable-edit-actions 0
      to
      enable-edit-actions 1

      Then you goto
      http://config.privoxy.org/show-status

and notice that all the lines under the "Actions Files:" section now
      have an "Edit" button.

Click the edit button next to match-all.action

      now, under Actions: you've got
      [ Edit ] [ Set to Cautious ] [ Set to Medium ] [ Set to Advanced ]

Click on the "Set to Medium" button to select medium level.

And don't forget to set enable-edit-actions back to zero in your config file
Upgrading to the current version of privoxy would also be a good idea.

      Regards,
      Lee

Thank you, that was what I needed to know. That helps alot. This is basically solved now. Appreciate it!
    EDIT:

    I speak of this:

In other words, you have to change the line in the privoxy config.txt

file (or config if you're not using WIndowz) from

    enable-edit-actions 0

    to

    enable-edit-actions 1

And don't forget to set enable-edit-actions back to zero in your config file

Btw, upgrading isn't currently an option unless I learn more how to make packages. Its a stable distro. Although ironically it does friggin use PKGBUILDs. Which makes this probably seem a hell of a lot more bizzare if you put those together.
