Like lots of other Sourceforge parts, editing ticket attributes is currently broken and has been for months. Don't worry about it, this is not the only ticket whose status does not reflect reality.

In later version logging is disabled by default. You can still enable it:

i have seen those links u posted before , but it doesnt specify if those are for the logfile or the privoxy window
also it doesnt say which file to edit and add these debug values in order to make it work
cause if its the config.txt file then there is the following value
debug 1 # show each GET/POST/CONNECT request
which should show the logs on the main window, well wait i posted this from the 3.0.6 version perhaps on newer its 0
