Hi, right now I'm using OpenSeadragon to display images and VIPS to create the tiles, which I then FTP (time consuming) to my server digitiler.com. I'd like to use IIPImage as a backend, so I only need to upload one file, but my hosting doesn't allow installation of FastCGI (I believe. MediaTemple/GRID). So does anyone have any recommendations for an inexpensive virtual machine? Or better yet a plug-n-play hosting provider? Also, what is the minimum/recommended requirements in CPU and RAM? thanks!

What's also great is EasyZoom (www.easyzoom.com).Up to 2 GB it is completely free to upload, share and annotate high-resolution images. Also planning a market place to sell images. Images can also be embedded via iFrame, just like YouTube videos (and who is still running a video server?).

I've set up a Linux Instance on Amazon... My Linux is woefully rusty so if anyone has any quick instructions please let me know.
