#2 Help with installing on Mac OS X

I've been using ifp-line on my Xandros Linux box and I
love using the package. It seems much easier to use
than the program which ships with the iRiver, but that
may be because my Mac has a few issues which result in
ritualistic hangs and such.

I'd love to use ifp-line in my OS X Terminal, though.
I'm new to command-line interfacing, though I'm
learning quickly. I know how to apt-get (fink in OS X)
and the basics of editing configuration files, but I
don't know much about compiling software yet. I have a
Linux how-to available, however, so I'm learning - but
how do I install ifp-line on my Mac? I'm running
Panther (OS X 10.3).
