It would be a nice feature if you just could edit the
title, artist, album en genre fields in the database tab.

oops! I didn't see the note in the manual stating that iFish
is not meant to be a tag editor (yet).
But on the other hand, just because I ask for this feature
doesn't mean I won't try for myself .... when I have the time.

Yes, it would be a nice feature... A possible solution is to
keep using iFish's own ltr classes for scanning the harddisk
(for performance reasons). Editing single entries could be
done using the entagged library, which (luckily) is LGPL now.
