A source code package and a Windows installer package were released today for Ifeffit version 1.2.11
See http://cars9.uchicago.edu/iffwiki/HoraeVersion067 for a detailed list of new features.
Ifeffit 1.2.10 has been released along with binary installers for both Windows and (Intel and PPC) Macintosh. The binary installers include Bruce's latest version of horae-066 which incorporates many bug fixes.
This release includes a new windows installer and anew source code package.
Fixed important bug with path lists in feffit() and ff2chi(), fixed feff6l to read feff.inp files created on
other systems, and added a few plotting improvements.
Important Changes for 1.2.5:
- several related improvements to feff path lists:
-- path ranges will only use those paths that are currently defined.
so that 'feffit(1-100,...)' will use the *currently defined* paths
between 1 and 100 (inclusive), even if only paths 2, 8, and 12are
defined. Related changes include:
o path indices are strictly checked to be in the range 1..9999.
o since the maximum path index is 9999, the list '1-9999' means
'all defined paths'. This can be abbreviated as 'all', as in:
ff2chi(all,group=ff)
o erase(@paths) and erase(@path=all) now both mean "erase all paths".
o when erasing a path, the feff data associated with a path will
be freed (if it's not in use by another path) so that new feff
paths can be used.... read more
Several bug fixes and increases in program limits.
A disk image is now available for Mac OS X (10.2)
Feff6, Feffit, Autobk now take arbitrary input file names. On Windows, a file browser pops up so you can find an input file and run the corresponding program with that file, in that directory.
Ifeffit 1.2.3 has a few small changes to the core library:
- setting 'path_index' now causes the given path to be the
'current path', so that 'reff', 'degen', and any parameters
that might depend on them are automatically updated.
- spline() now passes all of the arguments to pre_edge()
correctly.
In addition, there is now an updater program for Windows. Once
installed, the updater will run before all Ifeffit applications,
checking whether updates are available and installing them if
needed.
Ifeffit 1.2.2 is now ready. This includes bugfixes to the core library, some improvements on source-based builds
on linux and Darwin.
The windows installer includes the latest versions of athena, artemis, and sixpack
