#4 Possibility to create script / scenarios for SCL servers or Clients

Dear Pavel,

It would be great to implement some scenarios / scripting possibility in server mode or client mode.

This would be specifically helpful in testing and troubleshooting.

Example : Sending commands on certain events or time period, possibility to change the MV values, changing values / Validity bits during GOOSE transmission etc etc.

I know it is lots of work, but this can make our tool unbeatable. Let me know if I can be helpful.

I am not a coder but I can do tests and bugs check for you.

yes this actually is a long term intention. I am thinking about using the embedded IronPython scripting environment, which I have alreday used in another project. But so far, I have no resources to do that.
Thank you for your help offer. Just now I am planning to write a user manual, because of the number of features arose last time. Your help is appreciated in this direction.

that's fine!
My idea is as follows:

• User manual will be organized into chapters with regard to Views (Main Window, Toolbar, IED VIew, IEC View, IedDataView, all possible Dialogs and Context Menues etc.)
• Its appearance will be in the form of commented screenshots.
• Edited perhaps in GOOGLE Docs, I have created a document basis there
• Send me your GOOGLE registered email to share the document
• The document will be embedded into the exe in PDF form (I will do it)
