GCC >= 4 installs a stack protector which leads to a stack overflow error. Add the '-fno-stack-protector' and remove the optimization '-O2' to the CFLAGS variable in the Makefile.

this project has currently a low level support. We can not support IDL language conversion related topics.

Currently, the idl2matlab code does not support compilation with GCC versions higher that 3. GCC4 is not supported. We recommend to use the binary pre-compiled in the archive.
