Hi, So, once you have parsed a string, you will have the date as a number - the number of milliseconds since Jan 1st, 1970. You can compare that number to another number in all of the ways you mention below. This will work best in comparing two dates parsed the same way. If you are comparing a date to a fixed number, you will have to make sure both values had the same time zone, time of day, etc taken into consideration. -s ~Agito [Usman Akram] wrote: > > بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ > Öĥ ĄĿĿĂĤ ľńčŗèâśë Μě Īή Кnoŵľèđġë > Asslamualiqum > > Thanx Steven, its lot of help i probably, can use it, though as you asked > about comparisons i have to compare dates for following operators: > > - Equality > - In Equality > - Greater than > - Less than > - Greater than Equal to > - Less than Equal to > - Wild card '%' (Like operator) > > Allah Haffiz > ~Pμrë βŁФӨĐ~ THE §PØÍ£ëD Br@T > <Muhammad Usman Akram> > BS(Computer & Information Sciences), PIEAS > Software Engineer, Elixir Technologies Pakistan, > Islamabad. > Contact: > Cell # 0345-5895101 > Off: # +92-51-2206182 Ext: 137 > http://usman.akram232.googlepages.com/ > MSN: usm...@ho... <mailto:usm...@ho...> > Gmail: usm...@gm... <mailto:usm...@gm...> > "SAVE PAPER - THINK BEFORE YOU PRINT!" > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge > Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes > Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world > http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > _______________________________________________ > icu-support mailing list - icu...@li... > To Un/Subscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/icu-support > |
