Hi,
You are right. The locale files were corrputted. The issue has been =
resolved. I was able to build the datafile. Thanks.

Those files are now encoded in UTF-8. The three bytes at the beginning =
are the Byte Order Mark (0xef, 0xbb, 0xbf).
I'm not sure about "\202\351\274"... the UTF-8 encoding of \u20AC is =
0xe2, 0x82, 0xac (\342\202\254).
