Dear Matteo
I am Rui Santos from Angola - First of all ... Congratulations for this fantastic tool. I am sharing it in my personal site ... Pls see it in http://www.newbrain.net/categories/23 where I share all programs I found and I use intensively ... May be, some of them are of your interest.
The suggestion for a feature is the have the possibility of installing several iCopies in a Computer and pre-parameterize several "copiers" ... 1- Scaner A to Printer 1 ... 2- Scaner B to Printer 2 ... 3- Scanner C to Printer "n" etc ... This could eventually be a "paid option" as I am shure that many companies can buy this for them.
Rgds
Rui

    Dear Rui,
thank you very much for appreciating iCopy and for putting it in your website. I'm really glad that my tool can prove useful to people.

As for your idea, I think it could already be done (but we need to test it). If you don't install iCopy with the setup version, but you use the portable edition, and you put it n different folders, each executable will create a local settings file (if the folder is writable, so not in Program Files). At this point, each version of iCopy will have its local settings. The important part though is that there shouldn't be any iCopy folder in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local, because that's where iCopy will look for settings by default.

Can you check if the above works? If it does, I can write a section in the README and on the website.

    Thank you again
    Matteo

      Dear Matteo

Tks for your quick answer. I think it can work but can only install and test
myself along next week. I need to put at least two scaners in my office to
      do a demo for real.

If it works, for me its OK. I think though, that in next version you could
put such installation process in the setup for future use.

By your name you should be Italian. I normally travel to Italy every
Februaries in the Technogym conference. I can pay you a visit, depending on
location and eventually we can talk.

I have retired in Jan although still passing the files to the new management
and would like to focus is small things I can do myself. I am planning to
      do implementation of:

      • Printers and scaners in companies
      • TV indoor solutions
      • Asterisc solutions

At same time I will have a site where I will have a number of services that
can be sold via web in http://testes.lello.co.ao

I think your aplicaton can be sold to some companies. I think you can have
two options . One, as it now, and one "paid version" with the multiple
      facility built in.

      Rgds

      Rui
