No Scanner Connected

I have used iCopy for many years with Windows 10 and a Canon TR8520 MFD. I recently replaced the device with a Canon TS 9520. When I try to use iCopy, I get a message "No scanner connected, please connect a scanner and retry". I was using iCopy 1.6.3 and so I downloaded and installed version 1.7.0. Still the same error message. Please help and let me know what I should try.
