Dear iCopy,

This is kind of urgent.

I have a customer that need to use his document feeder to scan. He can scan a single page without issue, but if he tries to scan multiple pages, after the last page is scanned, he throws the following error:

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80210001): Exception from HRESULT: 0x80210001

He is using Windows 7 with all updates installed, including Dot Net.

“sfc /scannow” shows no errors.

His scanner is an Epson Workforce Pro WF3720.

I will attach the full error trace, his settings, and his log file.

Many thanks,
-T

The error code 0x80210001 refers to incorrect hardware settings, but in my experience it is very difficult to diagnose what the problem was, since in theory the error should be thrown when setting each property, if the value is not allowed. You can try playing with the settings (duplex, color/grayscale etc.) to check if the error keeps appearing

Odd. It will ADF one page just fine, but not three. I will experiment with properties to see if I can figure out which one is doing it.

Since this is very important to my customer and the Espon scanner interface is a nightmare, if I can not get iCopy working, do you have a favorite alternative?

    Hi Matteo,

This error also occures with Windows 10-1803 Pro x64 and HP Office Jet Pro 9025 scanner. The cause is a little more obvious (paper jams, etc.).

Both computers work perfectly with naps2-6.1.0-setup.exe

Please fix this! As it stands, I can no longer install iCopy on my customer's computers. Rats!
