Dear Borvik,
thank you very much for bringing this problem to my attention. I haven't thought about it before and I've already started to look into it.
I will get back to this thread once I have a version that is ready for testing.

Dear Borvik,
could you please test the attached version from commit 9c0d00? I updated the main form. If it looks ok then I will deal with the rest of the UI.
nm - i think I found the solution to why it wasn't working. I'll work on finding a scanner (user that I installed this for and had the problem is offsite) to test it.

Hmm... I didn't notice anything wrong with the UI on another test machine. But I also didn't notice anything about the already installed version on this test machine - I did up the DPI for the test.
I had installed iCopy on a clients machine as he was missing his scanner program and iCopy was about the most simple scanning interface I could think of (kudos on that) - except it had the aforementioned DPI issue.
Chances are high I will not see this client's computer again to test this out on the machine, but I might be able to instruct someone on some steps to test it there.

Thank you for your help. Anyway, in my tests this new version was fine, while the previous one had the problems that you were describing. I'll be glad to hear back from you in case you have any feedback!

Yup, looks like it's working. Except the number of copies field - that looks off (see attached screenshot).
I think the reason it didn't work on my test machine had to do with the Windows 7 theme that was in use. The default Aero theme, didn't have an issue, but the classic one on the clients computer did.
