Feature Requests item #700399, was opened at 2003-03-09 18:17 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350031&aid=700399&group_id=31 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Priority: 5 Submitted By: The poster child for Trojan cond (lewiz) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Drag / Resize / Snap Initial Comment: This is a combination of a few things (some may be better classed as bugs but they all fit together). I know that I can Alt+Ctrl+Drag to move a window. However, this does not seem to work if I use the Win key and drag. I have got the Win = Ctrl+Alt preference set up (ModMetaIsCtrlAlt=1) and Win+R _does_ display the Run dialogue. Is it possible to setup an Alt+Ctrl+RightDraw to resize a window ALA a great many other WMs? Finally, Alt+Ctrl+Drag does not seem to work in conjunction with edge-snapping, as it does by Dragging the title-bar. I don't know whether or not resizing should snap. Maybe this could be looked into as well. Keep up the good work, iceWM is a superb WM :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Marius Gedminas (mgedmin) Date: 2003-03-10 00:31 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=44660 Win+drag works fine for me. Or rather used to in earlier versions; newer IceWMs use just Alt+drag. I'd like right-drag for resize as well. Perhaps I'll find the time to produce a patch one day... To enjoy edge-snapping just release Ctrl+Alt while still dragging. That key combination is used to disable snapping. Snapping while resizing would be another feature I sometimes miss. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=350031&aid=700399&group_id=31 |
