#110 menu delayed first time

I see in icewm now (1.2.7pre2) noticable delay before
menu appears for first time.

It is possible this is due to increasing amount of
icons I have.
Then it is maybe more RFE.

I found some very "optimistic" note in icons.cc:
#warning "SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW SLOW (sort or hash the
list)"

maybe this can slove the situation.

It's probably because of delayed menu loading. Menus are now
loaded on first access, like they were supposed to, not on
startup like before.

An improvement would be to load some of them in background
after the startup is complete.

I "vote" for it! ;) You could add an option like this:

LoadMenuAtStartup=0 (menu loaded on first access)

LoadMenuAtStartup=1 (menu loaded at startup)

I experience the same frustration; I see no reason for there to be a 2
second delay when I open the IceWM menu for the first time.

However, this depends on what you like. Often, I prefer
IceWM starting in 2 seconds rather then in 5 seconds.
