No

I just switched to the nouveau driver due to having issues with the proprietary nvidia one. As a result, I am now using randr instead of twinview. However with this setup the taskbar stretches across both screens (which I actually prefer) and when I maximise on the primary (left) screen, it ignores the taskbar and the bottom of the window is hidden (as illustrated in the screenshot. On the right screen this problem is not present. If I set XRRDisable to 1 then the taskbar is only on the secondary (right) screen which I really don't like. This is not related to the other recent randr bug because xinerama is loaded.

Thanks for the continued development

    Ok I've found an odd workaround. I've set XRRDisable=1 and XineramaPrimaryScreen=1 and the taskbar is on the primary (left) screen with maximising working properly. So a fix is not urgent but I think it might be a good idea. This may of course be an issue with nouveau but I don't know how to determine that.

    Here is my xorg.conf: http://rafb.net/p/EWlBvW63.html

    You shouldn't need XRRDisable=1

    If you use xrandr, you can now set the primary screen by output name, for example:

    XRRPrimaryScreenName="LVDS"

    Maybe the detection of the default primary screen could be improved.
