Problem with quick install/remove of a systray icon

For now, I could only trigger the bug with the Epiphany browser : when clicking on e.g. a PDF file, the browser starts a command launcher to download the file and execute the PDF viewer. If the file is already cached, the application is started immediately. It seems that epiphany sets a systray icon for this launcher, which then immediately disappears. Sometimes, the space used by this systray icon is left visible (filled with grey, not the icon). It is then impossible to remove it without restarting a session.
I'm using Debian testing, with packages :
icewm/icewm-common/icewm-gnome-support 1.2.28-4
epiphany-browser 2.14.3-5
epiphany-extensions 2.14.1.1-2
