[Ic35link-list] R520m
From: Kevin W. <kj...@yo...> - 2003-03-24 13:29:32
Does anybody know of a way of getting the IC35 to communicate with the
modem on an Ericsson R520m?

[Ic35link-list] Help
From: Pierluigi B. <pie...@ti...> - 2002-03-02 13:30:53
Hi all!
First of all excuse me for writing in English, but
I don't know a word of German (but I'd like to...).
I own an IC35: I think it's fantastic, an ideal and
very compact companion for the mobile phone, instead
of that exansive computer-clones as palms or pocket
pc.
I'm writing because I have a serious problem with my
IC35. I've read alla articles and done all possible
things,but I didnt't find a solution .
Here is the problem: Wap doesn't function.
I phoned to my provider and I'm sure that I've set
all parameters well! I'm sure also my cell phone goes
well: I tried with a friend's palm (uhuh!) and all
gone well (with same parameters).
Let me explain better: I start "W@p Browser", then
I choose the profile and I press "Connect".
The IC35 starts negotiating with the phone and all
seem as the IC35 has connected well: at the bottom
of the page appears "Loading...", the icon "ONLINE"
on the top-right is lit and the picture of the world
on the tpo-left of the screen turns on itself.
BUT (this is the problem!) after loading start page
(as far as any page, I've tried several wap pages)
nothing is displayed; even if (I think) page is
loaded ("online" and "loading" flashes for a while)
on the screen remains the initial:

          W@p browser
         ------------
           V.2.2.021

            SIEMENS
    wap.siemens.yahoo.com

and this doesn't change, even if the page is loaded.

I don't know how to resolve this problem, please help
me!
     pie...@ti...

My system:

IC35 with firmware v. 1.45
W@p Browser v. 1.1.021
No MMC
Cell Phone: Ericsson T28s with mobile Office DI28.

Note: email (POP3, SMTP) goes well.

Thank you!
