On a GeForce 4400, the main guy is not visible. I get the intro text
scrolling over my screen, the map of the office and the sound and
gameplay, nothing else.

Thanks for the info. Two questions for you:

Can you see the desks? You should find plenty in the green-floored area.

Are there any error meesages in the stderr file? From Windows, select Start Menu->Mushware->Explore IC2 files
and open the directory name 'system' in the new window. The stderr file should be in there. Usually its just a list
    of commands.

    Cheers,

    Andy S.

(don't know if this is where I should type my response)
    Yes, the desks
are visible. Also, the ingame text is visible. I also noticed that the main guy
is visible for a split second when starting the game, before the floor
    covers(?) him

In stdout there are the some OK looking lines and
    "Load records
    failed: File 'C:\Program Files\Infernal Contractor II/save/first-day-
    records.xml': Could not open file
    Quit signal. Bye!"

Thanks for the details. I've done a lot of renderer work in preparation for
release 0.1.0 and this did throw up a few problems which might cause
what you've seen. I'm hopeful that this will solve the problem. Should
    be available within a week.

Thanks for the info. That's weird - I developed the thing on a PC with a
GeForce GTS and don't see any problems like this. I'm running
Windows 2000 SP3 with the latest NVidia and DirectX drivers. Is
    anything different on your system.
