#9 Server to Server backup / restore I/O errors

Any attempt to backup from a remote server to a local server or restore from the local to a remote through IBConsole results in
error 335544344
I/O error for file "C:\whatever\test.gdb"
error while trying to create file.
The system cannot find the path specified.
Failed to create database c:\whatever\test.gdb

If you specify the server name in the file name (rserver:c:\Whatever\Test.gdb) it will give
error 335544726
error reading from the connection.

Command line tools work with the same files and locations.

IBConsole uses the Service API and I have been told this was disabvled in the service API. Until the service API support remote/local backup restore operations IBConsole can't be fixed in this area.
