Hi Dferguso, Great question. JBoss ON started as an OEMed version of one of our early 2.x releases - before we were open source even, and they have extended it with their own code, and therefore it is now a hybrid. Due to their custom code, they haven't been able to move their deployment along with ours, which has left a cross-deployment strategy a bit out in the cold. However, the careful observer will see in the news that they are re-examining their strategy here. We're hopeful this will will change with their new direction. For now though, these versions are not matchable, and you are much better off using Hyperic 3.0. It still manages the JBoss environment just fine, it just doesn't have hooks into the JBoss ON.
