Well, your secret sauce was to use the old OPAL/ptlib libraries, then, which I deliberately did not do. When I undertook the effort I refused to go with the old libraries because I knew of a lot of bugs that had been fixed (especially in OPAL) along the way. However, it also seems that OPAL developers created a fresh set of new bugs, too. If you ever do look into working on t38modem with the new libraries then make sure to reach out, as a few of us have undertook quite a bit of effort in making that happen, already. You'll find a few "branches" of it out there... hehol and michaaa are two that I referenced. I've attached two patches which I developed in late 2015 against the hehol branch. I did pass them upstream, but last I checked they didn't use them (and had also ceased development, themselves). Thanks, Lee. |
