The Hydra Parallel Programming System (Hydra PPS or Hydra) Public Release 2 is now available. This is a parallel language extension to Java and it's related toolset.

The Hydra Parallel Programming System (Hydra PPS or Hydra) Public Release 1 is now available.

This project offers a new parallel language extension to the Java language. Java source code is "marked up" with the annotations and classes from the language and is then compiled with a regular Java compiler. The program can then be started as a regular Java program with a typical Java virtual machine or as a "Hydra program" with a runtime that is compatible with the language.... read more
