As I can see, :title, :value and :gettext() are returning the new value, but the displayed value isn't refreshed. It seems that hwg_Setdlgitemtext() don't works perfectly anymore. GTK have a set of so named stock icons, embedded in the library, which can be loaded by name. Look at the tutorial, "Advanced using of controls", "Browse of bitmaps" - it is a browse of stock icons.
