Just started using this and have a couple of queries:
1) Does Mail's junk filter actually work with Hotmail? I'm following the steps as if it works (i.e. saying what's junk and what's not) and then deleting the junk ones. But then what? How does it work? The only junk mail folders I have are the ones on Hotmail.
2) Can you send from Hotmail through Mail? All my attempts have failed; i've tried using hotmail.com outgoing server and mail.hotmail.com outgoing server.

WRT sending mail from your Hotmail account via Mail.app - set the 'Outgoing Mail Server' in Mail.app to 'None'.
It works for me.
